Best Architecture Instagram Accounts to Follow

Instagram is one of our favorite escapes during the day.

It is also an amazing resource for inspiration and to feel the pulse of the built environment. While we’re huge fans of feeds for design publications like Dezeen, ArchDaily, and Dwell, we wanted to share a few of the other best architecture instagram accounts that we follow. We hope you enjoy this eclectic collection of refreshing perspectives!

1. Accidentally Wes Anderson

Quirky and fun, Accidentally Wes Anderson transports us through the lens of retro palettes and symmetrical facades that are typical of the film director’s famous aesthetic.

2. Demas Rusli

Australian photographer Demas Rusli may be a bit flashy for some, but we love the wow factor every time his work pops up into our feed. It’s like a momentary glimpse into the future of cities.

3. Diller Scofidio + Renfro

DS+R continues to push the boundaries of built work and their feed is a welcome balance of design ideas, in process images, and stunning eye candy.

4. Henning Larsen Architects

Understated and definitively modern, the Danish design firm continues Larsen’s legacy of sculptural forms, undulating facades, and innovative materiality.

5. Morpholio

Like Layer App, Morpholio is quickly becoming an indispensable design tool for architects and their Instagram feed successfully documents and shares their users’ architectural processes and built work.

6. Sebastien Nagy

One of favorite strategies for finding inspiration is to follow architectural photographers like the globetrotting Sebastien Nagy. We love that his images focus more on urban patterns and textures than starchitecture.

7. Simone

A Brazilian photographer based out of Sweden, Simone is also the founder of five other excellent architecture feeds you should follow: @archi_unlimited, @1_unlimited@bnw_unlimited@timeless_unlimited, and @tp_unlimited

8. Stefano Perego

If you appreciate a little history with your daily dose of architecture, then follow Italian photographer Stefano Perego. Take a step back in time with his travelogue of funky and often brutal forms from a bygone era.

9. Zaccaria

If you like cutting edge facades like us, then make sure you follow Parisian architect and photographer “Mr. Z”. Some of his recent work is the best and shows off more of the architecture than his photoshop alterations.

10. Zaha Hadid Architects

We tried our hardest not to include too many starchitects, but Zaha Hadid Architect’s feed is too good not to mention. The late Hadid’s firm is building some of the most jaw dropping spaces on the planet.
