1. Custom Project Templates
Custom Project Templates: We've added the ability to create and maintain custom project templates to be shared within your company.
There are two kinds of templates:
- Company Templates: Templates created by Layer users for internal use among their own company. These may include templates for company best practices, common project structures, etc.Learn more about Company Templates here >
- Layer Best Practice Templates: Templates built by the Layer team for public use by anyone when creating a new project or adding new categories to a project. Explore Layer's Best Practice Templates here >

2. Other Improvements
2.1 Enhanced ability to undo field deletions: Field deletions are now logged as Activity that can be undone at any time. Open the Activity log to view field deletions. Previously, fields that were deleted would temporarily display an ‘Undo’ button to undo the deletion, but it would only display temporarily.
2.2 Refreshed UI of field display selection: This new and improved UI better supports categories that contain a large number of fields.

2.4 Display Lookup fields and quantities as a table in Document View: We’ve added another display option for Lookup fields to display values in a table. This functions very similar to the Table View option for Related Elements blocks in Document View.

- Fixed issue with deleted fields continuing to show as empty columns in a Table View’s field display
- Fixed ‘Show Label’ option in Document View Lookup fields
- Fixed text alignment settings not working for page number block in Document View
- Fixed scrolling bug in autocomplete Select fields that would cause the scrolling to stop for lists above a certain length
- Fixed padding issue in Document View text area fields
- Fixed display of percentage decimal fields in Table and Gallery View
- Fixed ‘Sign Up Here’ link in the Revit Add-in
- Added a 404 page for handling any invalid URLs in the app
How do I get this new release of Layer?
If you're already an awesome Layer user, just log in to your Layer account and refresh your window after login. You don't need to do anything if you have your iOS or Android apps set to update automatically. If not, just update Layer manually through the app store.
