A toggle is a type of field in Layer that stores a binary value—either “True” or “False”
Toggles are useful for tracking on/off, true/false, or complete/incomplete statuses. You can use toggles to filter views, drive conditional formatting, or trigger automations within your Layer project.

Using Toggles in Architectural Workflows
Toggles are especially helpful when managing architecture workflows. For example, you can use them to categorize rooms by use, occupancy status, or readiness. When creating room data sheets, a toggle field can be used to indicate whether the data sheet is complete, approved, or needs revision. This allows teams to filter views based on completion status or generate reports that only include approved rooms, streamlining coordination and documentation.
