What we're showing: AI Field Fill
AI Field Fill is a new way to capture site conditions. Point an iPhone or iPad at a space, talk through what you see, and Layer turns the audio and imagery into structured field data in real time. Room data sheets, condition assessments, FF&E surveys, and punch lists all share the same capture flow, and every field that gets filled is traceable back to the source photo and transcript.
The feature is built for the moments that have always been hardest in field work: the existing-conditions survey of a building that doesn't have a model yet, the closeout punch walk where every fixture needs documenting, and the early-stage feasibility visit where the program is still in flux.
The rest of the Layer platform
Stop by the booth for a demo of the full platform. The same project database that powers AI Field Fill connects directly to Revit and runs the workflows that show up on most adaptive reuse, healthcare, hospitality, and corporate interiors projects:
Room data sheets, generated from Revit and updated from the field
FF&E specifications linked to Revit families
Building surveys and condition assessments on iOS, Android, and the web
Punch lists, RFIs, and submittals tracked against the model
Official AIA tours we're co-hosting
Layer is co-hosting two official AIA A'26 program tours, both visiting the same three San Diego breweries housed in adapted historic buildings: Mission Brewery (former Wonder Bread Factory), Stone Brewing at Liberty Station (former Naval Training Center), and Ballast Point Little Italy. Both tours are co-led by Mike Lee (Layer), Agustina Aboy Berrutti (Lagarsoft SRL), and Daniel McDermott (Montrose Environmental).
ET133: Sustainability on Tap: Brewing, Design & Adaptive Reuse
Wednesday, June 10, 2026. The education-focused daytime tour. Coach round-trip from the convention center, three brewery stops, with a shared lens for evaluating adaptive reuse at each stop — systems and operations, materials and embodied carbon, urban context.
ET176: Thursday Evening Beer Tasting Tour
Thursday, June 11, 2026, 4:00 to 7:00 PM PT. The social-evening companion tour, added to the AIA26 program at AIA's request. Same three breweries, beer-tasting format, networking-oriented. $155 fee, set by AIA.

The fastest way to talk through how Layer fits your projects is to drop by the booth. Demos are running all four days, with the Layer team available to answer specific questions about Revit integration, AI Field Fill, multi-project rollouts, and how the platform fits in alongside the rest of an AEC tech stack.
If you can't make the booth, schedule a demo at layer.team/demo or watch the on-demand walkthroughs at layer.team/video.
