Join Layer CEO Zach Soflin, AIA, at AIA DC's 2021 Design Conference Reboot and Rebound!

Zach will present " How Common Data Environments for BIM Make Adaptive Reuse Projects Exponentially More Efficient" on Wednesday, September 22nd 1pm ET/12pm CT.

In this virtual presentation, Zach will answer looming questions such as how can existing buildings be adapted to respond to the world’s shifting post-pandemic needs? With so much existing building stock needing to be adapted, how do we make this process more nimble and efficient in our unpredictable economy?

He will introduce the concept of trustable project data and its role in helping multidisciplinary building teams collaborate more transparently and efficiently during adaptive re-use projects. He will also discuss the advantages of using a tool such as a Common Data Environment (CDE) for BIM and how it eliminates the data silos that currently exist between teams.
